Pot Belly Pig Breeding

Susan Magidson, Breeder

Ross Mill Farm, situated in the rolling hills of Bucks County, Pennsylvania, about one hour north of Philadelphia. Susan's breeding of Potbellied Pigs started in 1991. Her foundation stock is primarily selected for its conformation and disposition characteristics. With four unrelated boars and several sows, the bloodlines are strong and the gene pool varied; black, white, pintoed, cobby to medium average snout, strong bones, alert, well proportioned.

Ross Mill is active in the show arena, and it has its fair share of Champions and a NAPPA Permanent Grand Champion. The public is always invited to handle and interact with a Ross Mill Farm pet "show" pig.

All of Susan's pigs are farrowed in the main farmhouse. They are constantly handled and get a chance to interact with her family children, dogs, cats, visitors and weaned at six to eight weeks. By this time they are completely house trained and socialized. All Ross Mill Farm pigs are registered, health certified, genetically guaranteed in writing, socialized, house trained, spayed and/or neutered before the time of sale. Susan stays in touch with the new owners to work with them and try to catch any problems early to make sure it's a successful relationship. She feels each one is her baby!

Susan is a former President of NAPPA, and the founder of the Delaware Valley Potbellied Pig Association, and Pig Placement Network.
